Take a left onto the dirt path and head for the tunnel. If you see the page, grab it and start considering that sprint button. You should still be able to see if the page is there on the inside of the pillars while still being able to make a wide enough turn at the end to go around the other set of pillars. Bang a right out of there and the six pillars should be next, on your left.Īpproach from the outside of the left pillars. Approach the wall from the right, do a strafing circle around it, collect the page if necessary, and leave, never turning back. You want to stick to the dirt paths especially with the latest update, which allows ol' Slendy to appear IN FRONT of you, but behind something like a tree, making every forest a maze of NOPE.Turning around is NOT suggested, and the game can be beaten without ever actually seeing the man. Head to the dirt path at the 3 o'clock position next. The page can either be on the end of the tankers lined up parallel to each other, or on the side of the perpendicular tanks. These are the next scariest obstacles, but Slender man is still slow as molasses at 1 page. The tanks are directly outside the bathroom. Don't skip the chair unless you already have the note. It is easy to get scared and skip checking the chair. The page can be tacked onto the wall, or sitting on a chair in the far corner of one of the rooms. You also can look at the Slender Man longer while it is off. Your flashlight has a limited battery it will not drain while it is turned off.The further you are, the safer it is to look. Do not look at the Slender Man for too long, or you will lose. The Slender Man can capture you if it gets too close. If you lose all sanity, the game ends with the view being replaced with a static-covered close up of Slender Man. Sanity loss is represented by static and distortion appearing on the screen. You lose health (referred to as "sanity" in the original design) any time they can see Slender Man, or whenever Slender Man is too close to you. ![]() The game also varies the background sound effects each time an odd-numbered page is collected. After 6 pages, he can teleport into your view. If Slender Man obtains an unbroken line of sight to you, he instead starts to move a distance towards you each interval or half-interval, until he catches you or can no longer see them.Įach time a page is collected, or a particular amount of time elapses, the interval between Slender Man's teleports reduces and the maximum range decreases. Once he has appeared, Slender Man teleports at regular intervals between randomly selected locations, within a maximum range of you, that are outside of your view. The game's enemy, Slender Man, does not usually appear until you collect their first page, although it is highly possible. You cannot interact with the environment in any other way apart from the movement controls, the only controls available are to turn the flashlight on and off, pick up a page, and run.
